Ven Geshe Tenzin Damchoe was born in India (Dharamshala) and studied at the Lower TCV School. After his 10th grade, he chose commerce as his high school major and enrolled at TCV Bylakuppe. Later, he went to St. Philomena college at Mysore University and completed his bachelor's degree in commerce. After his college, he joined the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics and completed his 16 years of Buddhist philosophy study. He received his Geshe degree (equivalent to a Ph.D.) from Drepung Loseling Monastery in south India. For the past six years, he has been teaching Buddhist philosophy and practices to Earlham College students in the United States and Tibet Fund students in Tibet. He is a visiting scholar at the Oriental Institute of the Oxford University in England. He is presently a Buddhist Philosophy lecturer and coordinator at Sarah College for Higher Tibetan studies.

    • By using Rlung’s services, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risk, injuries, or dangers, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of our private sessions. I release from liability and waive my right to sue Rlung, Monastery World Guide, Inc., their employees, officers, associates, contractors and agents (collectively - “Rlung”) from any and all claims of the Rlung’s negligence, resulting in any physical and psychological injury, illness (including death) or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in our private sessions. Voluntarily and unconditionally I forever waive and release any claim against Rlung for and any causes of action relating directly or indirectly to my participation in Rlung’s services include private sessions.

  • Age Restriction
    • We welcome individuals of all ages to embark on a journey of self-discovery and well-being. While there is no age restriction for our services, participants under the age of 18 should have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Right to Refuse Service
    • The Rlung reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. We strive to maintain a positive and harmonious environment for all users of our services.
  • Cancellation Policy
    • If you need to cancel a booked private session, please follow the cancellation process outlined on our website. We kindly request that you provide a minimum of 48 hours notice, and only in this case will you receive private session credits you can use toward booking a future private session in the case of cancelation.
  • Refund Policy
    • We have a no refund policy for our services, unless exceptional circumstances apply. We appreciate your understanding and support in upholding this policy, as it allows us to maintain the quality and continuity of our services.
  • Program Etiquette
    • We are committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful community for all individuals participating in private sessions. We believe that creating a positive and supportive environment is essential for personal growth, well-being, and the collective experience of our community members.
    • By participating in our private sessions, you acknowledge and agree to treat others with respect, listen and communicate effectively, cultivate a positive atmosphere, report concerns or issues if they arise. We reserve the right to take necessary actions, including warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of services, for individuals who repeatedly violate these guidelines or engage in behavior that disrupts the well-being and inclusivity of the community.
  • Data Collection
    • By participating in our private sessions, you acknowledge and agree that Rlung uses the session recordings for the internal review, research and development of their services, as well as to maintain the program etiquette and positive environment.
