Institute of Buddhist Dialectics
Ven Geshe Tenzin Damchoe was born in India (Dharamshala) and studied at the Lower TCV School. After his 10th grade, he chose commerce as his high school major and enrolled at TCV Bylakuppe. Later, he went to St. Philomena college at Mysore University and completed his bachelor's degree in commerce. After his college, he joined the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics and completed his 16 years of Buddhist philosophy study. He received his Geshe degree (equivalent to a Ph.D.) from Drepung Loseling Monastery in south India. For the past six years, he has been teaching Buddhist philosophy and practices to Earlham College students in the United States and Tibet Fund students in Tibet. He is a visiting scholar at the Oriental Institute of the Oxford University in England. He is presently a Buddhist Philosophy lecturer and coordinator at Sarah College for Higher Tibetan studies.
